Conflicts of Interest
How relationships are disclosed and managed.
This page states how publisher, author, reviewer, provider, pharmacy, affiliate, and financial relationships are handled. Any material relationship triggers disclosure and editorial recusal, and never earns a provider favorable treatment or an easier evidence standard.
Covered relationships
Ownership, employment, affiliate or referral compensation, advertising, shared staff or contractors, sponsored content, and data relationships across the publisher, authors, reviewers, providers, and pharmacies.
Current disclosed relationships
As of September 4, 2026: NexLife — commercial partnership (affiliate/referral), disclosed on the ownership & funding page and at every point of use; NexLife links carry rel="sponsored". No other covered provider or pharmacy relationship is on record.
Recusal
A person with a material relationship to a covered entity recuses from writing, reviewing, or ranking that entity. Rankings are generated from data, not prose, so no individual can hand-place a provider.
Frequently asked questions
Does a relationship change a provider's ranking?
No. Rankings come from data and identical evidence rules. A relationship is disclosed and the related staff recuse; it never yields a better score.
